Women always do this shit. They complain that the hairdresser didn't do what they asked or they tried a new salon and they hate the cut etc. They cry about it but really it's just a request for you to fluff their ego for a bit since a drastically new hairstyle/colour, and not just a trim, was likely an attempt to boost their confidence in the first place. Your response should always be the same: lie and say that you love it. A few days later they'll be talking about how they just needed to get used to it and shit. DO NOT agree with her or you'll end up in one of two situations: 1. She'll continue to be miserable and you have to deal with that or 2. She'll get over it and you'll be on record as hating her new hairstyle.
Also, other foids feed into this. They straight up tell their friend their haircut is shit if they sense that they're feeling self-conscious about it. Foid friendships are brutal lmao.
