I instantly assume anyone that says this is an r-slur. Primarily because "anti-racist" is subjective to an extent. If you asked me do I think the government should not discriminate, should businesses be banned from discriminating on racial lines - I'd fully agree.

There's a full-blown weaponization of language taking place, in which people give themselves titles and use motte and bailey tactics to avoid defending their more unhinged views.

They like the fairly neutral and mundane surface explanation, and pretend the baggage doesn't exist. It's the best of both worlds - they get to declare anyone that challenges feminism a sexist, while also pretending feminism is far more innocuous than it actually is. It allows them to shut down any and all discussion about the more crazy aspects of their movements while giving said movements a veil of self-evident truth.

Nobody sane would disagree with the premise "women are people too" but many people would disagree that air conditioning is a sexist conspiracy against women, or that women are somehow second class citizens because someone mean-tweeted them.

The same is true for "anti-racist." Most people find racism offensive and would fully agree with you that racism is bad and discrimination is bad and all of that, but almost nobody thinks micro-aggressions are real or stop signs are racist.

The label "anti-racist" actually means "blindly accept every claim I make, no matter what the truth is, or you're a racist."

You see something similar with the "patriot" label and magatards.
