if capitalism always ends up as crony capitalism and communism always ends up as crony communism and societies continue a boom-bust cycle regardless of the ideologies of those societies, then isn't it cucked to ascribe those busts to the ideology?

No because there were other ideological systems before this too such as the mandate of Heaven in China, feudalism in Europe, caste system in India, etc and all of these ideologies were far more stable without a boom bust cycle at anywhere near the same rates as modern day society. Which shows that modern day ideologies might have an influence on causing the boom bust cycles to speed up rather than to have no part in it.
