I think trying to children responsible internet use will have better results than total isolation. They won't be under your thumb forever and they'll be using computers at school, so you should make sure they know how to operate a file directory. Put content filtering on the wifi so they'll at least learn how to use a VPN if they want to watch porn. (Note: AO3 must remained unblocked or the wife will get mad.)
Social media is the real tricky part, it's basically impossible for girls to avoid and boys who don't use it will be friendless spergs like me.
