Like half of all non-general 4chan threads that go longer than 100 replies end up with two complete morons arguing with each other and calling each other people of color for hours after all the other participants have gotten bored of the thread and left.
Can only imagine how many holes have been punched in bedroom walls over "This thread has been pruned" appearing while someone is typing a wall of text response
I'll cruise by a thread, disagree for usually a trite reason, and move on. For /pol/tards in /wsg/, I stick around. One of them exploded when I called the Russians ziggers or zignigs. Ever time I kept denying that I said that, he'd get angrier and angrier!

I read a book about the Habsburg Empire that insisted on referring to every city by every local language. For example, Lviv -> Lwow / Lemberg / Lemberik / Lviv
It was annoying at first, but eventually it drove home that these people commingled for hundreds of years before brutally genociding each other from 1918 - 1947.
