Half of Godfather 2 is set in Cuba. I remember one of your complaints about the first film was how it romanticized the mafia, which is true as Mario Puzo knew shit about how the real Cosa Nostra worked making the mafia bosses meeting look like some gentlemanly society. But Godfather 2 shredded all that, Michael Corleone is depicted as a psychopath who doesn't give a flying frick about his family and only cares about money and power, and through flashbacks we learn good old Don Vito was just as ruthless and murderous when he was young. Late in the film Michael has his brother killed and goes apeshit with his wife after she tells him she had an abortion (well that part was understandable).
