there is no specific number, having tighter border controls is a direction to move and an ideal some voters want to have valued. Just like some think we should accept all immigrants and "no human is illegal". Unfettered immigration is hurting workong class people and killing the poor, not to mention the crime its bringing and so i believe that we need to direct resources fo lessen it. Its not that complicated thag others feel this way too.

You are completely deluded if you think these are even slightly comparable, and even in the case of israel, a border 100000x easier to secure, people still sneak in.

How is it hurting the working class, quantify this using actual data from actual sources. How is it killing the poor? What % of crime has it contributed to?

My point is you're thinking emotionally and just repeating things you heard right-wing extremists repeat. The poor aren't dying because of immigration, you made that up. The working class aren't even the ones primarily impacted by immigration, and immigration, illegal or legal is actually a net gain to the economy according to all relevant data.

Crime I don't know, convince me, I seriously doubt it.

plz define a word with a number for me, lol you dumbass. The border is open bc it is not secure and even people who are caught entering illegally are then let go into the US to maybe see an immigration judge. Many of these people receiveing taxpayer money and cellphones from the feds when they do.
