All I know is that I got banned from PCMR and then a couple of years later got banned from there again on another account (same computer), and then immediately all my accounts got banned for ban evasion. It seemed automated.

That happened to me but one account survived (only thing I can think of is different browser was used on that one) and the other one got a 7 day temp ban for ban evasion.
