I thought so too, but when a group of mine tried to take over a dead subreddit with an inactive head mod that hadn't posted anything in months, Reddit did not allow us because the sole mod still had "activity".

Reddit makes up rules as it suits them. I don't know how high up the food chain these decisions are made, if it is up to chtorrr or the sjw aeo crowd they'd just as soon it died, but it might be big enough for Reddit to want to keep it and hand it over to some powrjannies.

I put in a request for gayspiderbrothel when they were offed over the Chtorr drama and I still havenβt heard back.
They probably have a new community already now that I think about it, but Iβm not wading into any zoomer groomercords or 196 threads to check.
If by some chance I get accepted Iβd make a recruitment drive here to fill the positions with dramanauts. Would make for a cool colony since it had an active userbase and admins canβt just say itβs an evasion sub.
