@TwoLargeSnakesMating how do we get this data on rdrama?

The SMAT dataset they use for KF doesn't include rDramaβ€”the codecels over there think we're not a real hatesite… :marseydepressed: Dramabros, are we not a hatesite?

I could definitely do some sort of keyword density search though. Like % of comments containing {'trans', 'train', etc}. Just need a good list of keywords and I'll make a Most Trainsphobic Users post :marsey57:

:marseytrain: :!marseytrain:s :marseytrain2: :marseytrain2:s :marseytrain2:ery troid troids troidery train trains :marseytrain: (and everything for bardfinn, so BARD_BOT's list).

I don't think "trans" would indicate transphobia. :marseyhmmm:

Very good list! Used a lightly modified version of it to put the dataset together. Expect a post in like eight hours wherein we shall name and shame the transphobes who lurk among us on this website.

Add AGP and HSTS too. Anyone who mentions that it's a fetish are transphobes.

I'm doing some preliminary data exploration, and you already stand out as having the most comments containing 'trans' or 'train' of any user on rDrama. By a very large margin :marseyexcited:

You also have the most comments, period, so we'll see how this shakes out in the end proportionally.

Maybe exclude trans as that'd be more likely to be used sincerely.

Troid on the other hand...

Don't forget the train emoji! At least two of them.

Since you seem to like stats, what do you think about this idea I made some months ago to get the true simp / haters rating. Just as in your comment, it uses the proportion of total comments to sanitize the numbers.

Good idea! Wouldn't be too hard to do, even. Got some higher priority stuff at present, but I'll see about getting to it Soonβ„’

Thinking about it some, I think normalization only would affect 'Simps For' and 'Hates'. The 'Simps' and 'Haters' tallies of a given user both already have an implicit denominator of said user's posts+comments sum. Anything I'm missing here?

Here's a revised writing of my old comment, this time using votes instead of comments so that (I think!) it makes sense:

To recap (with extra clarification, and VERSION 3: A CORRECTION), it would also be interesting to see the data as a proportion of total votes made by the person giving the votes. For example if I've upmarseyd someone (say LLM) a thousand times, that sounds like a big number, but if I've given away a million upmarseys to all users in total, then 1000 upmarseys is barely anything. I'm hardly a simp. On the other hand, if I've given LLM a hundred upmarseys, but have only given out 120 upmarseys to everyone in total, that's very significant, and makes me a giant simp for LLM. The "haters" section is similar but with downmarseys of course. That would really spice things up as you might imagine.

That's "Simps" and "Haters" covered. As for the "Simps for", and "Hates" section, well, you're apparently the third biggest user I simp for. But you do post more than most people, so perhaps your comments have caught my eye and made me upmarsey you more simply because of that, so we should divide the score by the total number of comments (instead of votes like the previous paragraph) you made for a fairer comparison.

Impressive. Normally people with such severe developmental disabilities struggle to write much more than a sentence or two. He really has exceded our expectations for the writing portion. Sadly the coherency of his writing, along with his abilities in the social skills and reading portions, are far behind his peers with similar disabilities.

Many people are giant simps for LLM no shame in that

You know what - I think you've got a point. I think I made a mistake for simps/haters when I said divide by the total number of received comments of the voted upon user, since as you might imagine, that would only change the scores, and not the ordering of the users. The exception might be if we're trying to find out the most simped users site-wide, but that's a proposal for another day.

Hmmm... I think INSTEAD, for the simps/haters sections, what we need is to divide by the grand total number of upmarseys from the sender user (all votes from them that were given out to everyone). What do you think?
