So how many of these people do you think will actually leave?

I give it 1/100 takes the first step of applying somewhere and like 1/10000 actually makes it to another country.

my hope is it's a lot just for the dose of reality they will inevitably get. Unfortunately most will never even get close to that far in the process. It's just whining on the internet hoping someone, anyone will acknowledge and validate their stupidity.

1/10k probably kinda high.

58% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck after inflation spike β€” including 30% of those earning $250,000 or more

I’d have left burgerland a long time ago if it wasn’t next to impossible to get anywhere cool. Not that I hate America or anything - it’s GREAT here - just there are so many other exciting places. Lower quality of life, absolutely, but I like experiences.

Ironically the US has far and away the most permissive immigration laws in the first world. Everywhere else is more or less completely locked down unless you’re broke and black/Asian. Yet America is the place that gets shit on for not being more open to immigrants.

None of these people will move. If you’re intelligent, valuable, and wealthy enough to get anywhere else livable, you’re not turning to Reddit for advice. Especially not over fricking abortion being decided on a per-state basis.

Sorry but you're completely clueless.

It's pretty dead simple to get into Germany and you get permanent residency after 5 years of paying into retirement and taking a German class.

I did it with a degree and my boyfriend did it with a high school education.

Maybe you're just r-slurred or something.

I hope this leads to at least one r-slur accidentally rendering themselves stateless by going to a US embassy and renouncing their citizenship. America is one of the few countries that allows you to do this and that shit is no-take-backsies.
