Every time I see a weight loss scam it just makes me nostalgic for the time when there were constantly ads for the Rockin' Body system from fitness celebrity Shaun T. "I want you to stop working out... and start rocking out!"

Home shopping tv is still full of infomercials for shitty fitness meme gadgets, advertised by buff Adonises and svelte glamour girls who definitely got that way by using the equipment.

There's an old film reel for a 1940s women roller squeezer gym and it's advertising beyond the grave
it rolls supposedly the fat off of women with motorized rollers (very ladylike compared to sweating ?). The film reel is full of attractive 1940s babes showing off the ladies roller gym.
The r-slurs in the YouTube comment section are like
it must have worked well! All the women in this 80 year old infomercial look really good!
Look how fit EVERYONE was in the 1940s...ALL of these women are hot, what the heck? the VVEST HAS FALLEN
and
"why is this hot"
