Weekly Anime Post 66

This week I (re)watched Classroom of the Elite. I watched the first season about one and a half years ago and liked it a lot, but was pretty mad that it didnt seem like it would ever get a second season considering it aired in 2017, especially with that ending reveal. But then I was very glad to see that a second season will release a few months back, and this week I finally watched it.

I think it was good, at least as good as the first season, probably better, especially the last few episodes. Honestly, this is one of not so many anime that make me consider picking up the light novel. I probably wont cause season three is scheduled for 2023 (), but it doesnt happen a lot that I even think about it.

Personally I couldnt really think of any anime that is similar to it, but if you can please give me recommendations. Character wise it reminds me of Yahari Ore no Seishun Lovecome wa Machigatte Iru and other shows from that era (I think Saekano was another one), but it goes off in a completely different direction (subverting expectations)

Anyway, its a great anime and you should watch it, and Im mad that I probably have to wait another year for the next season.
