I hate anime so much it's unreal.

Finishing "The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady" and it kind of sucks. Finally realized that yuri tags mean the show is going to devolve into garbage melodrama at some point.

Started really nice though.

Also watched "The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World" which was good.

Dropped Handyman Saitou after episode 9. Only the first episode was really worth watching.

Anyways, I'm catching up on Ranking of Kings in time for S2. Haven't binged anime in like 4 years, but this one is pretty good.

Gonna binge that Mercury Gundam show soon.

The Megazone 23 films are cool

I read another manga that was just the author’s barely disguised fetish. This time the author has the hots for fat women trying to lose weight. These fat women are also fantasy creatures for some reason.

Plus-sized Elf is definitely the best of the fetish manga I’ve read if only for its wealth of nutrition and exercise facts and the fact it’s actually funny outside of its absurd premise and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Also the first one I read out of a genuine enjoyment of the characters rather than out of a morbid curiosity. My favorite girl was the dragon girl.

Second caught back up on all of anime. Still mucking with MatsurisAhoge's Plex server, MatsurisAhoge haven't fixed it, but MatsurisAhoge now have another drive too backup each of MatsurisAhoge's Raid drives.

Tomo-chan was cute.

Ars no Kyojuu had a decent premise, but crashed and burned. MatsurisAhoge is almost surprised its not a video game.

Spy Classroom had hype and shat the bed.

Chillin in MatsurisAhoge's 30s had a great premise and started strong but started getting serious with high level threats. MatsurisAhoge really would have liked something simple about him doing odd jobs around the village and dealing with boars. Instead he ends up brokering peace between the humans and demons.

Campfire Cooking on the other hand managed too be chill and comfy the whole time, that was great.

Nagatoro-san was great, the relationship actually goes someplace.

Revenger was a fairly straight forward samurai show. Decent but obvious intrigue, a few solid emotional moments, cool fights.

NieR isn't finished but its still probably MatsurisAhoge's AoS, second place would be Tomo.

As for next season which starts this week into next week for the most part. There is a lot of hype over Oshi no Ko. MC delivers an idol's baby, dies, and is reborn as the baby. MatsurisAhoge is not sold on it.

Other than that its a lot of sequels. G-Witch will be back.

For new things: The one I am interested in is "The Marginal Service". We have no idea what its about, trailer doesn't clear anything up either.

Anyone watched Suzume yet??? Thoughts on it?

Friend got me to watch first ep of Hells Paradise. Looks good albeit pretty edgy

SpyxFamily chapter was meh. AI slop is a preferable alternative to filler.

I’m also still excited for the new Ultimate Ninja Storm game. I love Naruto! I love janky storytelling and nonsense powers!

I don’t have time to commit to any show as of late, but I did watch Gundam F91.

It was entertaining enough. The plot is confusing since what was intended to be a full anime series was condensed into a single movie, but it holds together okay. There’s an interesting blend of cool/stupid throughout the film. Both sides have horribly underrated Mobile suits and I liked the imperial German vibe of the bad guys, but then the movie’s climax ends up being about beyblades that can supposedly kill billions of people by just literally spinning around. Meanwhile Iron Mask takes a gunshot to the head and talks it off, but then he’s also a cuck who lost his woman to a short bald man, so I’m not sure what to think of him. The animation is solid, and the knockoff Star Wars soundtrack services the action just fine. It was worth watching.

Anyone have any movie recommendations? I prefer those over tv shows at the moment.

Welcome to the ShalomAlaikum anime end of season review extravaganza!

Now, I don't know if I'm biased, or I simply know how to pick'em. Because my top list is pretty much what I predicted would be good at the start of the season.

AOTS: Revenger, for the cool Nagasaki setting, story and samurai! Now, is it good absolutely, or only unique in comparison to the other, shitty isekai I watched? Well I do think it was good, It was the show I looked forward to the most every week. I liked the quick fights, it makes sense for a real world setting without healing magic. Either win fast or disengage so as to not die.

Disappointment of the season was Saving 80k gold. Not sure why I had high hopes. Sadly it's rather dumbly written and the protags OP power is completely wasted.

mid-high:

• Revenger

Low-high:

• Handyman Saitou. This was pretty good. The manga was 4 koma? 4 pages? An anthology of sorts but I think they adapted it well. Some fight went on too long losing all tension. Nice art style.

High-mid:

• Iceblade sorcerer. The MC is a total chad and carries the otherwise bland, high school battle harem.

• Farming Isekai, watched this after it aired. It was pretty good but, the way it showed relationships was super weird. The mc has a wife and harem but it never show never acknowledges it until the lat episode.

• Reborn to master the blade.

• Bofuri. nothing much really happens. Not plot driven so I'll review even tho it's not done airing.

• Campfire Cooking. This was kinda good, they managed to spread out the cooking so it wasn't boring. The MC is a bit of a wimp tho.

• Saving 80k gold.

• The strongest exorcist.

• By the grace of the gods. Very slow and lame.

Mid-mid:

• To your eternity

• Chilling in my 30's. I ended up dropping this, not because it was bad but because it didn't have time to watch it one saturday and then never got back to it.

• Vinland Saga cour 1. Einar pissed me of in the first episode, and kept doing it by acting dumb AF. And I'm not a fan of dream sequences so Thorfinns big realisation was kinda lame. I do realize that it was all together important for the upcoming plot but let's be real I was not that entertaining.

• Ningen Fushin. Man this had some rough animation. The story touched on somethings that don't show up in other isekai but overall it was rather weak. Ofc it's just a prequel for the real story but idk.
