Weekly Anime Post 82

Welcome to the ShalomAlaikum anime end of season review extravaganza!

Now, I don't know if I'm biased, or I simply know how to pick'em. Because my top list is pretty much what I predicted would be good at the start of the season.

AOTS: Revenger, for the cool Nagasaki setting, story and samurai! Now, is it good absolutely, or only unique in comparison to the other, shitty isekai I watched? Well I do think it was good, It was the show I looked forward to the most every week. I liked the quick fights, it makes sense for a real world setting without healing magic. Either win fast or disengage so as to not die.

Disappointment of the season was Saving 80k gold. Not sure why I had high hopes. Sadly it's rather dumbly written and the protags OP power is completely wasted.

mid-high:

• Revenger

Low-high:

• Handyman Saitou. This was pretty good. The manga was 4 koma? 4 pages? An anthology of sorts but I think they adapted it well. Some fight went on too long losing all tension. Nice art style.

High-mid:

• Iceblade sorcerer. The MC is a total chad and carries the otherwise bland, high school battle harem.

• Farming Isekai, watched this after it aired. It was pretty good but, the way it showed relationships was super weird. The mc has a wife and harem but it never show never acknowledges it until the lat episode.

• Reborn to master the blade.

• Bofuri. nothing much really happens. Not plot driven so I'll review even tho it's not done airing.

• Campfire Cooking. This was kinda good, they managed to spread out the cooking so it wasn't boring. The MC is a bit of a wimp tho.

• Saving 80k gold.

• The strongest exorcist.

• By the grace of the gods. Very slow and lame.

Mid-mid:

• To your eternity

• Chilling in my 30's. I ended up dropping this, not because it was bad but because it didn't have time to watch it one saturday and then never got back to it.

• Vinland Saga cour 1. Einar pissed me of in the first episode, and kept doing it by acting dumb AF. And I'm not a fan of dream sequences so Thorfinns big realisation was kinda lame. I do realize that it was all together important for the upcoming plot but let's be real I was not that entertaining.

• Ningen Fushin. Man this had some rough animation. The story touched on somethings that don't show up in other isekai but overall it was rather weak. Ofc it's just a prequel for the real story but idk.
