Weekly Anime Post 91

Read Solo Leveling which I guess is technically not a manga but whatever. It was surprisingly good for what I assumed going in would be an edgy power fantasy. The worst part about it was the romance with the blonde chick which felt completely forced and rushed but I’m not technically done with it I have like 10 chapters of epilogue left so maybe they can salvage it but given what the protag is I’m guessing it ends with him having to leave his family to do death god stuff and being sad about it for a while and then getting over it.

The worst part of it is the way they translate Korean names. When you’re translating stuff into English I’m begging translators to get over their fetish for sticking to proper Korean naming customs!! The best stuff I’ve read all drop the last name entirely and get rid of the hyphen between the first names. I could not tell you a single character’s name asides from MC.
