One of my big issues with anime (yes I actually have some rational arguments and not just indiscriminate hate) is the sheer density of sexual content that exists for the purpose of sexual gratification. It's not even "these two characters fricked because they love each other" or "kawaii-chan got r*ped by ogres to show how horrible the world is," it's "let's have 10 panty shots and a topless scene of kawaii-chan because why not?"

There’s a series I like called YuYuYu but I would never recommend it to anyone because of random moments where they gratuitously sexualize these canonically 13 year old girls.
