4chan is broken, there are too many posts that are just single sentence questions with coomerbait and threads are instantly derailed especially if you ever post a woman. I genuinely think its feds and I hate them forever for doing this.

Has to be the feds, no way chantards would get derailed by an image of a foid.
I mostly visit /tv/ and occasionally /a/ because of the anti-fun jannies. We get a lot of anime posts on /tv/ and anytime when someone asks why they don't stick to their containment board, anons pretty much say /a/ is dead for actual discussion and how they can't stand it because it's just waifustragging and consooming seasonal slop.

I generally inhabit /sci/ and /x/; /sci/ is broken by /pol/tards (feds) that come over to derail threads via injection of covid and s , /x/ is broken by s too but also schizos (feds) who post the same thing, hollow earth coomer stuff aliums demons x youtube sucks elites angels, in every thread. I'm 99% sure both of these boards are completely infested with feds who spend all day derailing threads and making random threads it is so incredibly painful.
/sci/ was actually good before covid. Now I don't even visit that place. Ironically enough while jannies make places like /wsg/ and /int/ completely sterile by banning people for no fricking reason, there are other boards that are just allowed to be spammed by the same 5 threads over and over again

You just have to find threads that aren't generals and not baits and you're probably good. It took me a few days to start seeing good threads on sight (as opposed to going through thread by thread looking for a good one) but its really not that hard. A lot of the good stuff on /x/ is just reposted greentexts and the occasional theory that just seems to fit a bit too well to be completely fake.
I usually get banned on /wsg/ for trolling or racism (such as calling poltards "dumber than BIPOCs"). Modern 4chan really hates people who want to rustle jimmies and shit on seriousposters.
To be honest, I was a massive sneed generator. There was this Mado spammer who self-bumped for 2 years a thread about a spinning 'anime' girl from a game with different backgrounds and songs, so once a week or so I'd visit the thread and kick its cage. Everytime he'd respond and get angrier and angrier. Other anons joined in, until OP died from being a cute twink (he still hasn't recovered). He got banned too for report abuse , but I'm pretty sure the jannies hated me for increasing their "work"load.
I also upload videos, so I contribute, but I also like disagreeing with people for fun. So much of 4chan has become like reddit.
I shit you not. The reason was "ironic shitposting".
I've noticed that the jannies on /a/ do not want posts criticizing the state of anime and tastes of anime fans. A while back a thread where people were basically discussing what kind of individual consumes bottom of the barrel isekai and what they find appealing about it got removed.
I also got banned for a day by a /v/ jannie for "ironic shitposting" but to be fair I was - but I cannot imagine a world where 4chan is anything but ironic shitposting - why would you ever ban someone for that?

It's pathetic how jannied 4chan has become. I honestly thought /int/ was bad when they banned me for 1 month for calling a kpop spammer an r-slured gook-loving BIPOC, but this is a new low. What was even remotely controversial in what you said?
God knows. The reason they gave was 'ironic shitposting". Jannies seem to have the support of (most of) the userbase on /a/ though. They seem to enjoy the board being a curated hugbox and openly express their support for jannies for keeing /a/ "pure" .
Lol, as if /a/ was known for it's serious, shitpost-free discussions. Sad honestly, I wish there were other places to go to avoid this, but alas it seems the age of imageboards and small forums is long over
/int/ has the most inconsistent moderation. The board is almost nothing but thinly disguised racial fetishism, but people get met with a ban hammer if they don't do it in a way that the mods like.
Imagine an /int/ without horny moids, they took this from us.

wtf I assumed you could only get banned from /wsg/ for posting nsfw and even then it would probably just get deleted

lmao I remember those Madotsuki threads. I didn't consider that it was all OP self-bumping but that makes sense in retrospect.
