I had fun reading through JJK all at once but yeah for whatever reason I just can't keep up with the manga now, the weird rules shit that always comes up now doesn't make sense and I'm wondering if I should've picked it all up while I was reading through or if I'm just r-slurred. I don't think I've read another manga that has this problem except maybe for HxH, because mangakas either keep it simple or tend to start ignoring their own rules once things become complicated. But JJK instead leans into it.
I skimmed the threads and they all just throw around a million fricking acronyms like "CT, CTE, BGPEEPEE, DE" like neighbor.
There is 100% a certain kind of person who leans REALLY hard into the bullshit numbers that don't matter, makes me think of certain kinds of DnD player. Also like DnD I don't give a frick if you minmaxed your barbarian to hit 15d12 or whatever, if the fighter player is making me laugh I'm gonna end up giving him the sword of "turn the barbarian player into your unwilling peepeesleeve"
