Weekly Anime Post 108

I hate anime so much it's unreal.

with good music, good comedy but they winged the story as they went and ran out of ink, ending two episodes into a 4th season with no ending. chorus is best girl.

Read most of “Otome games are hard for mobs” and was very surprised by how much I'm liking it. I was really hesitant about it given I kinda bristle at the thought of a male version of female genre but it's actually pretty darn good. Asides from the occasional moment where there's a bit of overt sexualization it's not very scrotey.

The world building is interesting and I like the mecha battles. The main character actually has a character and some interesting quirks. The main girls are okay Olivia needs some more time to stop being a damsel but I get the feeling that they're building up to that. The Duke's daughter character is pretty badass though, I'll give her that.

Some people were talking about Dorohedoro in a thread a few days ago and now I wanna re-watch it, if only for the intro theme

Watched the 1995 OVA Memories. It was ok. First part is great, second part is absolutely stupid with a dumb protagonist, third part had style but nothing else going on.

The final 3 episodes of this season of Bleach gave us, bleachstrags, something to be happy about.

Let's see:

• Finished My Happy Marriage. It was ok but not amazing.

• Finished The Fire Hunter. Interesting worldbuilding, but the CGI isn't great. I might watch S2 but not when it releases.

• Finished Yuuki Yuuna is a Hero. Decent, felt a bit like a mix of Madoka and Evangelion. Probably not gonna bother with the sequels though.

• Finished Kaina of the Great Snow Sea. Really interesting world similar in approach to Made in Abyss with lots of things that aren't explained, mid storyline. Definitely watching the movie later this year.

• Watched the OreGairu OVA. Really good. Glad to see best girl Yui hasn't given up.

• Finished Killing Bites. It was exactly the mediocre trash I expected.

• Watched the second SAO Progressive movie. As completely bland and average as I expected.

• Started Shangri-La frontier, and My Daughter Returned as an S-Rank Adventurer. Anticipating both to be comfy but completely forgettable. Started Mushoku Tensei S2, now it's done and I can watch it all in one go.

Undead Girl Murder Farce has ended. It had its ups and downs, but definitely more than worth a watch. Even when the story wasn't the strongest it still oozed style and fun. Too bad that season 2 probably never.

Watched two of the four episodes of Sousou no Frieren that came out this week. Good stuff. The story is very simple but incredibly effective. The background art is beautiful. Good vibes all around. Definitely appeals to the autstic gf fantasy.

Also I never really watched all of Shippuden before so I've been watching that from time to time. Just cleared the Pain fight.
