You forgot how this single fight would be milked over several chapters straight with internal monologues and backstory for each of these ninja and the lone bystander witness who's stupefied by how awesome Daredevil is and his 2 chapter resolution and backstory to follow his dreams.

This is my first time on miller daredevil and man the pacing is golden. Writing is a little bronze agey but the fight scenes never drag on too long and there is always lots of actual plot. Miller also has a very distinct sense of humor which you can see developing here. After reading the two decades of previous issues man this is such a trip I can see why it made splash.
