It's basically canon GT but also stupid high quality with new characters and probably canon. Mixed reactions but I don't have time to find them all it's 5am.

Literally just an excuse for more video game characters, a tie in kids show, funko pops, dolls and an excuse to redo the good idea that was GT (exploring the universe more). Maybe they actually discover ssj4 and stack it over blue/inst instinct/ego because that would actually look cool. I imagine none of this will be relevant and it's basically a filler arc.

when I found 
out gt was more or less hated by the community and not Canon lol it always looked the coolest

Basically everything outside of ssj4s design was atrocious. Plot holes, bad animation, reused animation, annoying pan that also never goes ssj, bad villains, the heck from the anime filler became canon and they somehow ran with that idea despite it contradicting actual canon. The black star dragon balls also make no sense. How the frick did popo never know about them and why do they blow up the planet?? Everything is basically r-slurred on paper even by anime standards.
