I got around to watching the AoT finale, it was aiight I guess :marseyshrug:

When "The Final Season" started, I got like 3 episodes in, couldn't take waiting, and caught up to the manga; a few months after that, the final chapter came out, so I have completely checked out of the AoT anime :marseyshrug:

I just found the ending a bit meh, thank god they changed Armin's line thanking Eren for becoming anime hitler though :marseyfacepalm:

Animation was obviously really good, but I wasn't very invested so I just kinda didn't care overall :marseyreluctant:

Nearly the same story. I dropped it s4 after seeing the wonky butt CGI titans and just read the manga when only a couple chapters were left to come out. But tbh I was checked out of the series after Erwin died. The more of the lore that got explained the less I cared about the series until I didn't care at all. I have gotten infinitely more enjoyment out of the drama between ending hater tards and ending enjoyer tards than I did from the actual ending lol

Yup, once lore started to be dropped, it actually got way more boring somehow :marseythinkorino:

I guess the premise of the story kinda necessitated an explanation, but at the same time it would kinda be like explaining a monster in a horror movie, so it's lose-lose :marseyitsover:

Happens all the time. It's way easier to set up a bunch of mysteries and plot lines than it is to resolve them in a satisfying way. Just look at shows like Lost, GoT, and more that I can't remember.

The peak of the series was the Unicorn secret police glowies trying to purge the Survey corps. :marseytexan: :marseybountyhunter:
