Prosecution Officially Requests Death Penalty for Kyo-Ani Arsonist :marseyhappening:

In the latest court session for the long-winding Kyoto Animation arson case, the prosecution officially requested that the defendant receive the death penalty after a weak counter-argument from the defense side last time.

The prosecution stressed that this is the case with the largest amount of victims in the history of criminal court cases and that the death penalty isn't a sentence that should be avoided.

The final judgment, and thus the end of the court case, is set to be passed on January 25th, 2024.
