I started steins gate once and couldnt get past like episode 5. Idk they just kept microwaving bananas and I just didnt care. Always wanted to give it another go cause people keep telling me it gets more interesting later.

This. Most anime fans are too r-slurred to get steins;gate and I am completely serious in saying this. I am literally becoming a physicist because of that show and while I do agree it was slow for the beginning part, it set up the fast-paced time travel segment in a way that made you actually care for the characters. In fact, Hououin Kyouma is genuinely one of the greatest characters of all time in all media and just seeing his antics kept me invested in the show. I think for most people, I would probably stop talking to them if they got bored of steins gate or didn't like Okabe.

How dare you put Mr. Braun in anything less than S tier. Also Faris is definitely S tier. I suppose the anime perhaps doesn't show how great Faris is, but YOU'VE READ THE VN HOW COULD YOU HATE FARIS? Also the gnome woman sucks, but she is good because she sucks so I suppose I'll accept that one. Personally, I would put 80% of the main characters into S tier and you should as well.

I think s;g 0 is underrated in the sense that people hate it more than they should, but it still does have major issues as a show. The pacing in particular is just complete nonsense and makes you wonder what the frick was going through their heads as they wrote it. The original s;g on the other hand is really fun, I love it even though it's way too goofy for me to take seriously.
