Weekly Anime Post 139

Found this thread late, but I watch japanimation irregularly so I post in these infrequently

This weekend I went on a bit of a bender:

I watched both Hellsing (2001) and Hellsing Ultimate (2006), both were just stupid fun, the purest form of edgy slop (nonpejorative), and Alucard might be a top 5 anime antihero for me now because he is legitimately just that cool and over-the-top

Additionally, I watched Mezzo Forte. If you know you know, but I had this on my to-watch list forever and forgot that it had some straight-up UNCENSORED hentai scenes

They were legitimately well animated, but of course it had to be weird, literal-r*pe japanese crap

It wasn't literal-literal r*pe (one was a dream, one was a s*x-doll android body double) but still, bizarre, especially when you aren't expecting it

Overall still kinda fun though, the animation/aesthetic were cool and there's hot girls kicking butt, frick it

Last but not least, I watched the OG Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, also known as YKK

It is a 100% feel-good, nothing-happens-and-that's-a-good-thing, pretty 90s slice of life 2 episode OVA

I can tell I am going to be rewatching YKK a hundred times, it seems like it would be a massive vibe to have on in the background
