Finally finished OG Urusei Yatsura, anybody know any good (preferably long running) episodic comedy anime to replace it with? I've already watched Gintama and Ranma.

I watched the blue archive adaptation. It wasn't great because all the main abydos story does is set up shiroko and hoshino for later but at least the problem solver segments were fun.

I watched the entirety of The King's Avatar and Heaven Official's Blessing on mute because Chinese is such an ugly language.

So anyway I finished Sorceror Hunters and it's clear they completely ran out of budget for the last couple of episodes. The plot is also ridiculously rushed in the last half dozen episodes when it should've been spread further through the show. 4/10.

Now I'm watching Those Who Hunt Elves and Chobits, we'll see how they go.

Last time I recommended giant and the big sister as an isekai that wasnt bottom of the barrel garbage, and today i will be recommending another isekai that isnt worth absolute dogshit.

Isekai shikkaku or disqualified from the other world, is about a man being transported to another world, big surprise. But while this man is never named (he is only ever referred to as sensei) it's very clear that the man is none other than osamu dazai, the author behind ningen shikkaku, or disqualified from humanity. And drawing from his real life counterpart, the protagonist is transported in the middle of his double suicide attempt with his lover, and is constantly trying to find ways to die in his journey.

Much like my previous recommendation, sensei does not receive any special powers upon his transportation to the other world. There is a bit of gary stu vibes i guess from how he resolves conflicts but basically he would have a speech skill of 100 in skrum or fallout terms. Like giant isekai, It also has a world that acknowledges the existence of other otherworlders, as well as their impact of how these humans with special skills would impact society.

Pretty interesting out of 10, read this instead of some other isekai about a protagonist who gets isekai'd, gets a shit skill but is secretly an op skill because the protagonist is a genius who finds an exploit through the skill that apparently no one else would have bothered to try, and attains riches and a harem beyond your wildest dreams. Seriously why are all isekais about the people around the protagonist misjudging their worth and then they're secretly super duper op because of whatever garbage reason?

Is Jujutsu Kaisen worth continuing? I didn't dislike it but I got bored and just stopped watching after a while. The plot didn't feel like it was going anywhere.
