Should I bother watching Tenchi Muyo?

I spontaneously remembered this show exists. All I recall is seeing a few episodes on Toonami as a kid and the protagonist had a bitchin sword.

If you want to be able to say you did, or to have some grounding in that era of anime, go for it. From what I remember it wasn't especially ground breaking. Watch Kenshin.

That's another nostalgia trip I need to take. I did YuYu Hakusho not too long ago and I can't say I was disappointed.
