This occurs because liberalism is its own religion, and is in fact a version of christianity. Contrary to what christcucks believe, religion can exist independently of cosmology. Liberalism emerged from abrahamic notions of equality and forgiveness. It has its own dogma, its own rituals, and its own version of heaven (being on the right side of history). The only thing it's missing is god. Christianity had 1000 years to prevent modernism from occuring and it didn't, because it was more concerned with forgiving cute twinks and s than it was with preventing them from emerging in the first place. lol!
