Yup! But with ✨ai✨ they can have a constantly updating list. Every citizen has a swarm of multiple ai agents monitoring and collecting all behavior 24/7. The second you even mention an "antifa" thought. It will be noted. Too many, and you will be dealt with. Dissent will be impossible

Those AI models are trained on the feedback of thousands of volunteers; once made, they're actually trivial to route around with simple noun substitutions.

Fighting hate groups on Reddit (which uses two anti-hate LLM vendors) has shown me the limits of that tech

It has limitsnow yes, but there are advancements daily. Claude 3.5 is on another level and it seemingly came outta no where. But yeah, if they just sick a bunch of chatbots on us, I'm not worried. It's when they incorporate llms into larger agentic systems where things get scary fast.

One of the problems of LLMs is that they are just a multi-dimensional statistical distribution chart tied to a dictionary of symbols. They're not "intelligent" or "sentient", they just are convolute artifacts of artifacts of intelligence, like silly putty lifts of comic strips

The other problem with them is that training them uses huge amounts of energy.

You'd use less and spend less employing a team of analysts on salary for tasks like "hunt down antifascists".

The "AI" we have now doesn't think or read, it just sees that a prospective hateful sentence looks a lot like the training data it's been told is hateful, or doesn't.
