If you are just starting out I would concentrate on more standard patterns because few/no apps will let you get funky with time signatures

But if you want to experiment then you might find this interesting

I'm trial-and-erroring to work out how to get the notes translated from the sheet music to the MIDI - hand-editing durations and alignment

I have to do it the hard way so it sticks in my brain
