i keep getting calls from 309-663-6700, which is a Bloomington, IN number. they NEVER leave a voice mail.
googling it brings up either a collections agency or a lawyer's office, Wilber & Associates.
i don't know what the frick to do. i am nowhere near Indiana and this is anxiety-inducing.

If they're professional and serious, they will post you a letter.
Scammers spoof arbitrary business phone numbers all the time. The only way to deal with them is to let them hear "You have reached (nnn) nnn-nnnn leave a message" every time

i'm looking at ftc.gov and it says they can't report a debt to a collections agency until after they a) talk to me by phone or in person about the debt, or b) mailed a letter or electronic communication about the debt and wait a reasonable amt of time if its undeliverable.
