@bsky.app We really need a System in place for famous people to know if a account is legitimate. Obviously these are fakes. Still it would be nice to know in case someone is just starting out to build their account. You could easily block someone you believe is a imposter.

The bluesky infrastructure answer to authenticity is "DNS records" - if they're not i.e. KeanuReeves.com, they're likely impostors, kind of thing
Bsky T&S did that so they wouldn't be arbiters of identity

There are definitely many things here that need to be addressed. I love it here. I am seeing an uptick of X style accounts following me suddenly. I will definitely have to do a blocking spree this weekend.
