yah, it takes practice, but you adapt faster than you think. a lot of voice training is unlearning certain vocal habits & replacing them with others.

have you ever learned an accent for a play & been able to flip in or out of that voice? it's kind of like that.

My trick is to literally switch to an accent. My best (least dysphoric) femme voice is a middle aged Brooklyn lady.

Mine is basically what I was already using as my "customer service voice", just applied to everything else with a bit more vocal variance. I'm still working at it.
