In 2020, I helped run /r/VoteBlue, and on Nov 3, led the subreddit's electoral integrity team.

There were three incidents of election misinfo / disinfo posted to /r/VoteBlue that day.

The most brazen involved postfacto editing of a post once it had become popular.

User account profiles and domain handles, however, can be retroactively changed; an automated watchdog looking for On The Fly changes to these metadatas would be prudent

Domain Names

and domains can be registered with lookalike non-latin character sets, i.e. Cyrillic
