Not to mention that when the disinformation crisis really got going, a ton of people who went all-in on debunking and tracking far right groups on the ground were trans. The TERFs were all apparently too busy sucking up to the far right.

The TERFs on Reddit were busily trying to build subreddits cataloguing everywhere someone could find (among other things) CSAM & CSEM on and off Reddit. (That's Bad).

When told by practicing professionals that this was the antithesis of protecting victims, they kept doing it.

Their operations on Reddit were entirely tabloid, misinfo, disinfo, and "so, so, so shocking" lurid narratives about anything politicizable and exploitable for Sexual Anxiety.

They had, in 2019, in addition to /r/GenderCritical, many other subreddits, among them /r/itsafetish (for promoting a narrative of autogynephilia) and /r/neovaginadisasters (stolen status photos of SRS, horror stories about poor outcomes, etc). These were cross-promoted to hundreds of MAGA hate subs
