Yes! Reading those manuals is important and good especially when you first get a product. Many are available online!

But also, we live in the real world and the world where a person reads the manual for every product they own doesn't exist.

I used to have to tell people about Material Safety Data Sheets as part of my work and at least 75% of people went, "Wait. What do you mean all the information about this product and how to safely use it (including managing accidents) is one sheet?".
