In the 1970's, some enterprising Dallasites printed bumper stickers reading "Central Expressway Parking Permit #…"
A stash of 100's of these was rediscovered in a storage unit in the 1990's, 20 years in to the same US-75 reconstruction project, and sold out in a day at $1 apiece
