I appreciate that many people need and/or want Gender (of themselves, of others, as a Phenomenon) to be A Complex Thing, including debating the rhetorical utilities of "Born This Way" vs "I Choose" and other aspects & axes.
I take a Categorical Imperative approach: "You are who You say You are.".

I see sometimes some people testing out Gender Theories which arrogate to them some degree of Authority on the Gender of Others, in a way which revolves around negation of "You are who You say You are", & I say nothing in the instance, but I do make note.
