So, one local businessman was doing Keda Vettu for a better year since it hasn't exactly been a good year for the industry in this town. One of the people invited was a northoid and he spent the entire time whining about how the whole thing is barbaric and how it's baffling that a multimillionaire who owns multiple factories is doing this shit. Told me it's these practices that defame Hinduism and keep it backward. Left before they served lunch with some nice mutton dishes

That's an impressive copper statue. One of my favorite giant statues is in Senegal and was built by North Korean artisans. Best Korea made a ton statues in Africa as part of their international outreach program.
