Its rare in more densely populated areas, especially venomous ones get hunted on sight. When it does happen I'm sure it gets logged and treated though. At least a tiny, almost village level clinic I once went to in my state had anti venom and considering how costly they are, it has to be a centrally subsidized program.

I wooked at the nyumbers and it says India has the highest nyumber of deaths fwom snyake bites in the world, which is abnyormwl fwor even its size, and the state with the highest nyumber of bites is Andhra Pwadesh which dwoesn't have much fworest as weww as twibals outside of the nyorthern bworder area and is heavy in agwiculture, swo I dwon't think it's just twibals being the reaswon why thwose nyumbers are swo high.
