In the article the whale complains that upper caste men talk about ending reservation (40-60% govt jobs guaranteed if you're lower caste for example) and reject her.
Bruh they're rejecting her because she's OBESE not because she's a dalit. No one mentions their caste on dating apps lol. Look at her-

If she wasn't obese they would have stuck around longer at least. Even dalit moids would have rejected her.

My conspiracy theory is that this style caught on to normalize oversized proportions and therefore obesity. There's also an interesting tension between these works' collective blandness despite the routine gestures toward diversity and their use in advertising to promote individual excess, elevating the consumer's wants to primacy.

Sadly it's more just the fact the cookie cutter style makes artists interchangeable and easier to fire/replace like cogs.
That and the weird colors and vague proportions make race, ethnicity, and build vague so you can claim every illustration is some sort of minority if your squint hard enough. And won't get accused of making anyone sexy.
