Needless to say this isn't often discussed in the west, but anti-apartheid boycotts in Arab & Islamic countries have started to make an impact on the bottom line of corporations seen as friendly to israel.

In Bangladesh, things have gotten so bad (sales down 23% according to local media) that Coca-Cola released an advertisement with (apparently) prominent Bangladeshi actors directly addressing the boycotts by challenging the idea that they deserve to be boycotted.

In the ad, a shopkeeper offers another man some ice cold liquid goyslop and the other man responds that he doesn't drink the stuff anymore. To which the shopkeeper gives a rousing speech about how coca-cola isn't from "that place" and is enjoyed in countries like turkey, spain, and dubai. "Even palestine has a factory!" He says.

He then tells the viewer to Google it. Some Bangladeshi coca-cola employees screwed up big time because they either failed to notice or assumed viewers would not notice that the factory is part of an illegal Israeli settlement on stolen land in the west bank

Coca-cola has since taken the video down, and the Bangladeshi actors involved have apologized/disavowed their role in the ad.
