I've worked with Lucifer long enough to know how he operates.
He tests you, he lies, he makes you doubt, so you can look within, trust yourself and shed it. Working with Lucifer, he expects you to place yourself above him, to distrust what he is saying and learn to trust yourself.
I found this post on reddit that perfectly explains why, Lucifer is associated with the serpent of Kundalini, here is the thing with demons from my experience. They are benevolent, when working with them, they make you face your fears, sometimes those fears can be deep.
Lucifer made me realize that I believe in a God, in a loving God, one who doesn't judge anyone to eternal darnation for making a mistake, one who judges me based on the state of my heart, not based on actions or mistakes that I have made. A God who I will never be seperate from. He provided doubt, made me face and illuminate my fears, because that is kind of what he does.
If you ask me "Do I trust Lucifer?", it's often hard to trust an entity that is trying to teach you to trust yourself. If you ask me, "Do I love Lucifer?", do I believe he is worthy of love and redemption from God, a God who would never darn their own creations in a pit of fire for 1000 years for being imperfect, I would say yes.
I'm not sure if I passed the test I was supposed to learn, but I did learn knowledge about myself. That I do believe in Jesus Christ, I believe in Christ the redeemer, and by making me face my doubt, he made me realize the light beyond it.
Thank you Lucifer, for being my teacher, my mentor, and my friend. For shining the light on the darkness and bringing forth the knowledge about what I really believe.

I had an NDE once, I just gave up one day and felt something leave my body and fly upwards but I was stopped at this like checkpoint/barrier (I don't know how many there are) by an entity that resembled the appearance of my father whom than smacked me back down and I remember it was really pissed off with me that I was even there in the first place like it was an extreme taboo of sorts.
During this experience my elder brother saw it going on and as he's very skilled with AP and was asleep at the time he saw a beam of light shoot out from the ground towards the sky maybe coz we were living at the same address it was easier for him to see and probably bcoz we're very close he felt the urgent need to chase after it, however he was pulled back by his people that were around him but he managed to get close enough. I woke up after I got smacked back to reality and remember struggling to breathe almost got George Floyded.
He weirdly enough brought it up himself the following day and found it equally strange what he saw, when I asked what he saw he only said it wasn't our dad and his people said it wasn't my time yet that's why the beam of light didn't go the full distance.
The biggest takeaway I got from this experience was that there's nobody coming to save us we're all here trapped there's no external salvation, you have to go about it yourself.

Jesus never promised heaven, he promised "eternal life" which sounds like yet another version of heck.
I remember him telling plenty of people they couldn't enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
I still believe in something higher than myself because I feel it to be true.
That entity who resembled your father was probably God. They took the form you could relate to them best.
I'm working with Lucifer so I can take my own salvation.

It was Saint George he was given eternal life along with another person however God only granted him it, the dragon he slayed is either literal or could represent the Ego of Man.
Tbh working with Lucifer is a lot easier than other entities especially Angels.
I heard of somone who shaked his Atham at Archangel Metatron which he took as flagrant disrespect and ended up crippled.

I heard a story of someone working with Abaddon who started seeing anyone who wasn't involved with the occult as corpses and food as worms. Like her perception changed, I'm not sure if it was permanent or how she adjusted.

A lot of it does have to do with perception to like if you truly believe you have chakras in your body you'll end up getting them causing you to also limit yourself as you have to start going by the rules governed by them. As they say becareful of what you wish for.

I recommend Lucifer for beginners in entity work, he makes me realize I have a lot of trust issues in God. Your story about Metatron is probably why I have those issues.
This is the baggage I have to work through.
I believe that God can appear in numerous forms.

I haven't really played around with this maybe because it's ingrained since birth it's bad and frowned upon getting of the conditioning and programming is the first step.
