That's the thing. You have to at least give advice as if it were true even if you question whether it is or not. Because the world and humanity are strange and fricked up in far too many cases and if there's any chance it's true, you can't risk just telling someone in this situation they are lying and offer no help.

If this is made up, and I hope it is! Well then, that's what we get for wasting our time on Reddit. I'd much rather get played than risk being a peepee to someone who just experienced a confusing, humiliating, terrifying assault.

Lol she can't drive so there's no way she's leaving her husband or calling the police on his family. Grandpa put her in her place and that's it period. She'll not soon forget it. She can still be a decent wife as long as she stops bitching, learns from this, and makes babies soon. Do this and the patriarch will be pleased.

Amazing to see the Reddit response go beyond "divorce him for not immediately coming over and rescuing you" and even "divorce him for not having his own father arrested" to "divorce him for not immediately coming over and honor-killing his father." The fricking delusion of these people lol, there are probably some report-maxxing opportunities here (even if it's all fake.)
