My (23F) FIL (70M?) spanked me, and my husband (30M) thinks it's not a big deal and thinks it's "kind of funny". And, I'm freaked out and rethinking our relationship. What do I do?

There were lots of comments acknowledging it was fake but also lots of comments like this:

That's the thing. You have to at least give advice as if it were true even if you question whether it is or not. Because the world and humanity are strange and fricked up in far too many cases and if there's any chance it's true, you can't risk just telling someone in this situation they are lying and offer no help.

If this is made up, and I hope it is! Well then, that's what we get for wasting our time on Reddit. I'd much rather get played than risk being a peepee to someone who just experienced a confusing, humiliating, terrifying assault.
