Presumably @uwu thinks it only affects a single post rather than all posts a user makes in the 6 hour timespan of the award. If a post received 500 updoots under this reasoning it would pay for itself or provide a surplus.
It would be kind of cool if some neurodivergent figured out the amount of upmarseys the average post/comment gets and double price then make it a bit higher, say ~250 to give a doubling dramacoin award that might actually pay off if they go viral.
Also can I please have API access to make a bot. I'm not sure yet but I'm sure whatever it is will be terrific

Does the award generate extra dc? I thought it just pushed posts further up the hot/top lists.
