But tbh the Ruqqus error codes which we imported are from, well, Ruqqus. Captainmeta4 (webmaster there) has all their nomenclature all medieval fantasy-like, including site functions (guilds, heraldry, exiles, pardons, siege, etc.) so he made the error codes similar. It was just an unhappy coincidence that the one everyone kept seeing was about code elves or something. They weren’t all straggy like that to be twee and annoying, it was just the branding they went with.
