I've always found this questionable since so many have coats adapted for temperate forest environments, blending in with dead leaves. And how in medieval Europe would you stop your pet from fricking feral cats coming out of the woods?

My cat is a bit unusual in that she loves the water; she can't get enough. Turn a tap on in the bathroom and she sprints there from the other end of the house. I had to put a wire cover on my frog pond because she kept jumping in and scaring the froggies.
