fat cat demands to play fetch

Now that she's an only cat she's gotten aggressively clingy. Probably hangry as well, now that she can't eat all of her sister's food anymore and is being put on shameful fat cat food.

She keeps bringing these poof balls for me to throw. I never :marseyitsover: taught her to play fetch, but she's obsessed :marseybardfinnrefresh: with it.

For her breed, she should :marseynorm: be at about 8 lbs. She's 10 lbs. She's not garfield :marseywideload: sized, but she could definitely stand to lose a little :marseykirin: bit.

My cat loves to play fetch too, but only if I throw it into a different room. If it doesn't pass through a doorway, he doesn't care.

It's too easy, he can still see it, there's no hunt involved. If you throw it under a couch or smth he'll dive for it I'll bet

Probably not. I think :marseyphilosoraptor: Tokyo is fine as an only cat for right :marseyyes: now, unless she starts getting too annoying :marseymar: and actually :marseynerd3: acting out.

I couldn't imagine her interacting with a kitten.

I think :marseyphilosoraptor: I'm stuck on oriental/siamese cats due to their dog-in-cat's-clothing nature.

One of my cats is (I think, humane society rescue) part Maine coon, she's really affectionate. I've seen them said to be the dogs of cats, you might like them too. :marseylaying:

I did have a maine coone mix growing up, but having to regularly trim his butt/back leg hairs to avoid :marseynope: stragglers was menacing. I prefer shorthairs to avoid :marseynope: hairballs.

Additionally, surprised :marseygwwaahhh: there  isn't a :marseyhairball: yet :!marseysquint:
